תִּקּוּן תִּשְׁעָה וְאַרְבָּעִים<\/strong>

Tikkun 49<\/strong> – 1<\/p>\n

Isaiah 40:26<\/a>
\n“שְׂאוּ-מָרוֹם עֵינֵיכֶם וּרְאוּ מִי-בָרָא אֵלֶּה ”
\n“Lift up your eyes on high, and see: who hath created these?”<\/p>\n

The first three words of the verse above has the initials of שמע, referring the the prayer of Shema Yisrael.<\/p>\n

The fourth word has the letters of אור, light, the fifth has numerical value of 50, like the number of words in the first part of the Shema and the number of gates that lead to Binah<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The sixth word is ‘created’. The fifth and the seventh forms the word Elokim, אלהים.<\/p>\n

The Zohar teaches us that the prayer of Shema has the power to elevate us to Binah<\/a> and create a bridge between physical and the spiritual levels.<\/p>\n

We recite this prayer twice a day. In the morning, after we receive the soul back from the night sleep it helps us connect to the level of Chessed<\/a>. Also at night in the aspect of the central column and before going to sleep. We recite the Shema to pave the path for the soul to ascend and receive the daily light.<\/p>\n
