There is an aspect of service of the Holy One that depends on the body&rsquo;s action, that is, following the action of the precepts. And there is a service to the Holy One that is most inner and the essence of everything. It relates to the precepts that depend on the voice and the will of the heart.<\/p>\n<p>#122<br>\nThere are twelve body parts that make the actions related to precepts done by the body. They are; two hands and two legs, and each of them has three segments, and four times three is twelve. The precepts related to the body&rsquo;s action depend on these body parts.<br>\nThe service we do for the Holy One Blessed be He has two aspects, one relates to the twelve external body parts, and the second aspect is the inner work that depends on twelve internal parts that are; brain, heart, liver, mouth, tongue, five wings of the lungs, and two kidneys. The inner parts establish support for the correction of the soul level of <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Soul levels&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Soul levels&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Nefesh&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt; is the lower level of Light in the body but is the most important to sustain the life of a person. The Liver is the control center of the Nefesh in the body.&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Ruach&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt; is higher and comes from Zeir Anpin. We achieve this additional light in this world by following the ways of the Torah with the general rule &amp;quot;Do good and avoid bad&rdquo;. The Heart is the center for the Ruach.&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Neshama&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt; is the highest level of Light that can be achieved in this world. Righteous people that already have the level of Ruach and act selflessly for the benefit of others, can achieve the level of Neshama. Since it&rsquo;s the highest level, it connects to the brain.The higher-level of the soul controls the level below it. Neshamah and Ruach can leave the person if he loses the righteous path.
