\nוְעֵץ הַדַּעַת טוֹב וָרָע, הוּא לְמַטָּה, עֵץ הַדַּעַת טוֹב – זֶה מטטרו”ן, וָרָע – זֶה סמא”ל, וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה וְעֵץ הַדַּעַת, ו’ בָּא לְרַבּוֹת, שֶׁהוּא בָא מִמָּקוֹם אַחֵר, וְעֵץ הַדַּעַת טוֹב וָרָע. וְעוֹד, וַיַּצְמַח יהו”ה אֱלֹהִי”ם מִן הָאֲדָמָה כָּל עֵץ, זֶהוּ צֶמַח צַדִּיק וּמִתַּחְתָּיו יִצְמַח. בֹּא תִרְאֶה, כָּל מִי שֶׁשּׁוֹמֵר בְּרִית, אוֹתוֹ הַבֵּן שֶׁנּוֹתֵן לוֹ הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא עָלָיו נֶאֱמַר וַיַּצְמַח יהו”ה אֱלֹהִי”ם כָּל עֵץ נֶחְמָד לְמַרְאֶה – בְּסוֹדוֹת הַתּוֹרָה, וְטוֹב לְמַאֲכָל – בְּמִצְווֹת הַתּוֹרָה, אֲבָל בֵּן אַחֵר שֶׁלֹּא נַעֲשָׂה בְּיִרְאָה וְאַהֲבָה שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא, מַה כָּתוּב בּוֹ? וְעֵץ הַדַּעַת טוֹב וָרָע, וְזוֹ עִרְבּוּבְיָה שֶׁל טוֹב וָרָע, מְעֹרָב מִמַּצָּה וּשְׂאוֹר.\n

וְלָכֵן צִוָּה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל לִשְׁמֹר אֶת עַצְמוֹ בְּפִרְיָה וְרִבְיָה. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב וּמֵעֵץ הַדַּעַת טוֹב וָרָע לֹא תֹאכַל מִמֶּנּוּ, טוֹב – מִצַּד שֶׁל דָּם טָהוֹר, וָרָע – מִצַּד שֶׁל דַּם נִדּוּת, שֶׁהַבֵּן הַזֶּה גּוֹרֵם אָבְדַן שֶׁל שְׁנֵי עוֹלָמוֹת, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב כִּי בְיוֹם אֲכָלְךָ מִמֶּנּוּ מוֹת תָּמוּת, מוֹת – בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה, תָּמוּת – בָּעוֹלָם הַבָּא.\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Tikkun 53<\/strong> -3<\/p>\n

The Zohar brings another explanation to the verse in Genesis 2:9<\/a>
\n“וַיַּצְמַח יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים, מִן-הָאֲדָמָה, כָּל-עֵץ נֶחְמָד לְמַרְאֶה, וְטוֹב לְמַאֲכָל–וְעֵץ הַחַיִּים, בְּתוֹךְ הַגָּן, וְעֵץ, הַדַּעַת טוֹב וָרָע”
\n“And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life<\/a> also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”<\/p>\n

When it said ‘AND the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil’, it means that this tree came from a source that is different from the Tree of life<\/a> that was mentioned first.<\/p>\n

The Tree of Life<\/a> is rooted at the supernal<\/a> and holy levels. The Tree of Knowledge is at the lower levels. The Good side of it, is the aspect of the archangel, Metatron. The ‘Evil’ aspect of it, is the minister of the negative side, Sam-el<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When we follow the laws of the spiritual system from the Torah, we can connect to the secrets of the Torah. As we study in the Zohar, we connect to the ‘Good’ side of the Tree and enjoy the fruits as it said ‘and good for food’. If we don’t, then we experience a state of good and bad.<\/p>\n

The good side can bring blessings in a form of continuous life energy, righteous children and blessings for the whole family. The other side<\/a> is chaos and death in all aspects.<\/p>\n
