Tikkun 55<\/strong> – 1<\/p>\n

“בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא”, “In the Beginning”
\nThe Zohar reveals to us another dimension of the first word of the Torah. It has the letters as בַּיִת ראשׁ, “head house”. The first letter Bet ב, is spelled בית, same as ‘house’.<\/p>\n

Genesis 2:10<\/a> “וְנָהָר יֹצֵא מֵעֵדֶן, לְהַשְׁקוֹת אֶת-הַגָּן” “And a river went out of Eden to water the garden”
\nPsalms 36:9<\/a> “יִרְוְיֻן, מִדֶּשֶׁן בֵּיתֶךָ; וְנַחַל עֲדָנֶיךָ תַשְׁקֵם”
\n“They are abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou makest them drink of the river of Thy pleasures (same root in Hebrew as Eden)”<\/p>\n

The river is the line of life force that feeds the world through the first word of the Torah. It comes from Keter<\/a> and begins its manifestation in the temple mount in Jerusalem<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The river that comes out of Eden is the Light that comes out of the Torah and is revealed by the Zohar. The first three letters of the Torah בְּרֵא, mean ‘created’ and have the same letters as באר, which means ‘well’ of water.<\/p>\n

L’chaim is a toast we use in drinking to a person’s health or well being. Literally means ‘to life’. The most powerful L’chaim is when we drink the water of the Torah using the study of the Zohar that is the tool that draws the water from the well.<\/p>\n
