But Jacob said, &ldquo;Please let my lord go on ahead before his servant.&rdquo;, which means, let Esau advance his rule now in this world, let him pass, as it said, &ldquo;Their king will pass before them, With <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;YHVH&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;The Holy Name&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=yhvh\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>YHVH<\/a> at their head.&rdquo; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Micah.2.13?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\" target=\"_blank\">Micah 2:13<\/a>).<br>\nJacob&rsquo;s intention was to let Esau rule first in this world, and &ldquo;I will lead on slowly&rdquo; to raise himself to the next world and to the end of days, for those days go slowly.<\/p>\n<p>Lesson;<br>\nJacob thought about the time of the Final Redemption and Mashiach. He delayed the manifestation of the blessings to the future so all his descendants could enjoy them.<br>\nJacob did not think of himself. He said, &ldquo;&#1500;&#1456;&#1512;&#1462;&#1490;&#1462;&#1500; &#1492;&#1463;&#1502;&#1456;&#1468;&#1500;&#1464;&#1488;&#1499;&#1464;&#1492; &#1488;&#1458;&#1513;&#1462;&#1473;&#1512; &#1500;&#1456;&#1508;&#1464;&#1504;&#1463;&#1497; &#1493;&#1468;&#1500;&#1456;&#1512;&#1462;&#1490;&#1462;&#1500; &#1492;&#1463;&#1497;&#1456;&#1500;&#1464;&#1491;&#1460;&#1497;&#1501;&rdquo; &ldquo;for the sake of the work before me and for the sake of the children,&rdquo; which means that Jacob preferred to skip the pleasures of this world and work hard during his lifetime so he and his children would benefit in the future.<br>\nWe should learn from Jacob that our life in this world is temporary, and our mission is to work for the future. To achieve that, we study and follow the ways of the Torah to earn merits and arrive at the Final Redemption or be Resurrected to Immortality. Then we will be blessed with all the blessings that are written in the Torah.<br>\nRabbi Shimon dedicated his life to teaching the secrets of the Torah, including isolation for 12 (+1) years in a cave so that we could have the Zohar. Just by reading the Zohar, we make high spiritual connections and earn great merits even without understanding. And saviors shall come up on mount <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Zion&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Zion is the connecting point of Yessod of Malchut. It is called &amp;quot;Mount Zion&rdquo; because it is the higher level where we can see the Light. It is the center of the world. The first letter of &#1497;&#1505;&#1493;&#1491;,&nbsp;Yessod, is Yod to tell us that it includes the light from the highest level. The word &#1497;&#1505;&#1493;&#1491; has a numerical value of 80 to tell us that it is spread from the level of Chokmah&nbsp;down with the ability to connect to&nbsp;Malchut. Jerusalem is Malchut and below Yesod.Jerusalem of the lower level is dark without the light from the &lsquo;Mount of Zion&rsquo; that brings completion and fulfillment.Jerusalem is considered &amp;#039;sick&amp;#039; without the constant flow of Light from the Holy Temple.
