\nIn order to cancel strong storms, we should meditate on the sequence מצר that comes from the last letters of the first three verses of the Torah. It has numerical value of סער, meaning male aspect of the storm. סערה is the female aspect of the storm. The male aspect gets power from theמצר and cancesl its power.
\nKing David in Psalms 118:5<\/a> said “מִן-הַמֵּצַר, קָרָאתִי יָּהּ; עָנָנִי בַמֶּרְחָב יָהּ” “Out of my straits (=מצר) I called upon YHVH<\/a>, He answered me with great enlargement.”<\/p>\n

During the first Kiddush of Shabbat, on Friday night, meditate on the word Shabbat, שבת, which means rest, in order to send the Shabbat rest to Hurricane Irene and nullify its effect.

\nIrene in Hebrew is איירין, and has numerical value of 281. That is 280 + kolel for the five final letters םןץףך that represent judgment.
\nAlso has the numerical value אפר ashes,פרא wild,רפא heal.<\/p>\n

This is especially strong this Shabbat because the initials of the first four words of this week’s parasha, Deuteronomy 11:26<\/a> has also numerical value of 281
