\nTikkun 58<\/strong> – 6<\/p>\n

Genesis 3:21<\/a>
\n“וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים לְאָדָם וּלְאִשְׁתּוֹ, כָּתְנוֹת עוֹר—וַיַּלְבִּשֵׁם”
\n“And YHVH<\/a> God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins, and clothed them”<\/p>\n

After the sin, God made garments of skin (עור) for Adam and Eve to replace the garments of light (אור). This was made from the skin of the Snake<\/a> that represents the material world and the connection to the negative side of the Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad. It takes a generation of 70 years to shed this skin which has three Klipot<\/a> that block the light from us. The word for blind, עור has the same letters as skin עור, with different Nikkud<\/a>. After the sin, we became blind and can not see the true light.<\/p>\n

The letter Bet from the first word of the Torah בראשית, is constructed from three Vav letters. The top Vav connects to the heavens (Fire), the side Vav to earth and the bottom, to waters. From this letter comes seventy shades of colors that are different vibrations of the light that helps us break the Klipot<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The numerical value of the letter Bet is 2 plus the 70 lights and we get 72. The three Vavs connect us to the three verses in Exodus 14:19<\/a>,20,21 that are the source of the seventy two names. Each verse has exactly 72 letters and times three, it gives us 216 letters. It is the same as Vav=6 in the power of three that is (6x6x6=216). The power of 72 helps us break the Klipot<\/a> .<\/p>\n

The Sefirah of Chessed<\/a> חסד<\/a>, that is the first of the lower 7 Sefiro,t has numerical value of 72. The next Sefirah, Gevurah<\/a>, גבורה<\/a>,is numerically 216, which is 3 times 72 and they serve as bridges to the upper levels. If we add both Chessed<\/a> and Gevurah<\/a> we get 288, which is the number of impurities that the world needs to correct before the final redemption.<\/p>\n
