This is vanity, and it is an evil affliction.&rdquo;<br>\nThis verse is difficult to understand because it is written, &ldquo;he lacks nothing for himself of all he desires&rdquo; and then &ldquo;God does not give him the power to eat of it, but a foreigner consumes it.&rdquo; when he lacks nothing.<br>\nHe answers that this is a secret as all of King Solomon&rsquo;s (Ecclesiastes) words are disguised in other words, and they are like the words of the Torah that are dressed in &lsquo;stories&rsquo; of this world.<\/p>\n<p>#142<br>\nEven though the Bible stories have depths, we still need to read the primary level as it is dressed with the words and symbols of this world.<br>\nThe verse above reveals that a person walks on this world, and the Holy One, Blessed be He, gives him wealth so he can use it to earn merits for the world to come.
