Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more;&rdquo;<br>\nRabbi Yosei explains that when all the people are at peace, and there are no factions among them, the Holy One, blessed be He, has mercy on them, and judgment does not rule over them. Even if they are all idolaters, judgment does not rule over them if they are at peace. And it is explained with the verse,<br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Hosea.4.17?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\" target=\"_blank\">Hosea 4:17<\/a><br>\n&ldquo;&#1495;&#1458;&#1489;&#1493;&#1468;&#1512; &#1506;&#1458;&#1510;&#1463;&#1489;&#1460;&#1468;&#1497;&#1501; &#1488;&#1462;&#1508;&#1456;&#1512;&#1464;&#1497;&#1460;&#1501; &#1492;&#1463;&#1504;&#1463;&#1468;&#1495; &#1500;&#1493;&#1465;.&rdquo;<br>\n&ldquo;Ephraim is joined to idols; let him alone.&rdquo;<br>\nThis means that even if they worship idols, that is, idolatry, nonetheless, if they are united, let him be.<\/p>\n<p>Lesson;<br>\nHarmony and unity are crucial for averting judgments. While God may overlook disbelief in him, He will inflict judgment on those who disrupt peace and unity.
