וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה וַיִּתְחַבֵּא אָדָם וְאִשְׁתּוֹ מִפְּנֵי יהו”ה אֱלֹהִי”ם. וְכִי יָכוֹל אָדָם לְהִתְכַּסּוֹת מִמֶּנּוּ, וַהֲרֵי כָּתוּב אִם יִסָּתֵר אִישׁ בַּמִּסְתָּרִים וַאֲנִי לֹא אֶרְאֶנּוּ נְאֻם יהו”ה? אֶלָּא כָּסּוּ פָנָיו חֲרֻלִּים, הִתְכַּסּוּ פָנָיו מִבֹּשֶׁת, שֶׁנִּפְקְחוּ עֵינֵיהֶם וְרָאוּ מַה שֶּׁעָשׂוּ לְמַעְלָה, שֶׁגָּרְמוּ לַעֲקֹר אֶת הָאִילָן מִמְּקוֹמוֹ וְהַמַּעְיָן לְסַלֵּק מִשָּׁם, וְזֶהוּ וַיִּתְחַבֵּא הָאָדָם וְגוֹמֵר, שָׁם הִתְכַּסּוּ פָנָיו מִבֹּשֶׁת, שֶׁשָּׁם חָטְאוּ, בְּמַה שֶּׁהָיָה בְּתוֹךְ עֵץ הַגָּן, שָׁם הִתְכַּסּוּ פָנָיו. יֵשׁ מִי שֶׁאוֹמֵר, בְּתוֹךְ עֵץ – זֶה צַדִּיק, וּבְמָקוֹם זֶה וַיַּסְתֵּר מֹשֶׁה פָּנָיו, שֶׁנִּזְכַּר מַה שֶּׁאֵרַע לוֹ בָּרִאשׁוֹנָה, הִזְכִּיר חֶטְאוֹ וְהִתְכַּסָּה מִבֹּשֶׁת, וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה זָכָה לְוּתְמוּנַת יהו”ה יַבִּיט, וְזֶה י’ שֶׁהוּא הַחָכְמָה הַתַּחְתּוֹנָה, וְהוּא פְּרִי הָאִילָן, שֶׁהָיָה בְּרֹאשׁ צַדִּיק, ו’ – גּוּף הַבְּרִית, ה”ה זֶה מְקוֹם הָעָרְלָה וּפְרִיעָה, אַרְבַּע אוֹתִיּוֹת הָיוּ עַל צַדִּיק שֶׁהוּא עֵץ פְּרִי, הוּא גָרַם שֶׁהִסְתַּלְּקוּ מִמֶּנּוּ, וְהוּא נֶעֱקַר מִן הַגָּן, כָּךְ עָקַר הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אֶת הָאָדָם מִגּוּפוֹ וְגֵרְשׁוֹ מִגַּנּוֹ, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר וַיְגָרֶשׁ אֶת הָאָדָם.<\/div>\n

Tikkun 61<\/strong> – 3<\/p>\n

Genesis 3:8<\/a>
\n“וַיִּתְחַבֵּא הָאָדָם וְאִשְׁתּוֹ, מִפְּנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים, בְּתוֹךְ, עֵץ הַגָּן”
\n“and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of YHVH<\/a> God in the tree of the garden.”<\/p>\n

The Zohar asks “Can anybody hide from God?” and answers by quoting Jeremiah 23:24<\/a>
\n“אִם-יִסָּתֵר אִישׁ בַּמִּסְתָּרִים וַאֲנִי לֹא-אֶרְאֶנּוּ, נְאֻם-יְהוָה: הֲלוֹא אֶת-הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֶת-הָאָרֶץ אֲנִי מָלֵא, נְאֻם-יְהוָה”
\n“Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? said YHVH<\/a>. Do not I fill heaven and earth? said YHVH<\/a>”<\/p>\n

The action of hiding is in a literal sense that we know, but here it refers to a shift in state of existence. Adam and Eve were in the presence of YHVH<\/a>, which is the Tree of Life<\/a> system. The sin distanced them from the Light and they were left in the dark where they couldn’t see YHVH<\/a> directly. The verse says that they hid IN the tree of the Garden. This tree was the Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad and because they connected to the Bad side of it, they couldn’t see God that is YHVH<\/a> and the Tree of Life<\/a> system.<\/p>\n

It is our own choice to make positive actions that take us away from the Bad side of the Tree and into the Good side. This is how we can connect to the ‘light’, otherwise we stay in our ‘hiding place’, which is darkness and chaos.<\/p>\n
