And if you say that the world exists because of Abraham, as it is written: &ldquo;&#1489;&#1456;&#1468;&#1492;&#1460;&#1489;&#1464;&#1468;&#1512;&#1456;&#1488;&#1464;&#1501;&rdquo;&mdash;&rdquo;when they were created&rdquo; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Genesis.2.4?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\" target=\"_blank\">Genesis 2:4<\/a>), do not read it as &#1489;&#1456;&#1468;&#1492;&#1460;&#1489;&#1464;&#1468;&#1512;&#1456;&#1488;&#1464;&#1501; (&ldquo;when they were created&rdquo;), but as &#1489;&#1456;&#1468;&#1488;&#1463;&#1489;&#1456;&#1512;&#1464;&#1492;&#1464;&#1501; (&ldquo;for Abraham&rdquo;). This interpretation suggests that the generations of the heavens and the earth were created for Abraham, as the letters &#1489;&#1492;&#1489;&#1512;&#1488;&#1501; and &#1489;&#1488;&#1489;&#1512;&#1492;&#1501; are the same. During the process of Creation, the Holy One, Blessed be He, would build worlds and destroy them. But when Jacob came, the worlds were perfected through him, and they were no longer destroyed as before.
