Even though the Holy One, Blessed be He, judges the world through His laws, and people see the judgments of &ldquo;this&rdquo; &mdash; meaning the Shechinah &mdash; coming upon the righteous while the wicked, who transgress the words of the Torah, do not seem to suffer judgments at all. As it is written: &ldquo;&#1489;&#1468;&#1460;&#1508;&#1456;&#1512;&#1493;&#1465;&#1495;&#1463; &#1512;&#1456;&#1513;&#1473;&#1464;&#1506;&#1460;&#1497;&#1501; &#1499;&#1468;&#1456;&#1502;&#1493;&#1465; &#1506;&#1461;&#1513;&#1474;&#1462;&#1489;&rdquo; &ldquo;When the wicked spring up like grass&hellip;&rdquo; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Psalms.92.8?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\" target=\"_blank\">Psalms 92:8<\/a>) &mdash;they inherit the physical world from every side, and judgments do not seem to fall upon them in this world. And people do not understand why. If King David had not explained at the end of the verse, we would not have known: &ldquo;&#1500;&#1456;&#1492;&#1460;&#1513;&#1468;&#1473;&#1464;&#1502;&#1456;&#1491;&#1464;&#1501; &#1506;&#1458;&#1491;&#1461;&#1497; &#1506;&#1463;&#1491;&rdquo; &ldquo;&hellip;to be destroyed forever.&rdquo; (<a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;ibid&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;ibid - ibidemIt means the reference is in the same place as above.It is used to indicate that a reference is from the same source as a previous reference.&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=ibid\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>ibid<\/a>.) The prosperity of the wicked is a temporary repayment designed to leave them empty in the World to Come.
