And this Naamah &mdash; she would become aroused with passion and cleave to her spiritual side. To this very day, she stands and dwells near the roaring waves of the great sea. She goes out and toys with human beings, arousing them in their dreams through human lust and attaching herself to them. She takes from them the lust and nothing more. From that lust, she becomes impregnated and gives birth to other types of demons in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Notes:<br>\nThis Zohar passage discusses the origins and continuation of demonic forces stemming from the time of Tuval-Kain and Naamah, descendants of Cain. Tuval-Kain, the first blacksmith, is portrayed as the inventor of weapons, representing the beginning of physical violence and destruction. Naamah, a woman of intense spiritual energy mixed with impurity, is depicted as the <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Binah&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;When it is related to the Sefirot, &amp;#039;Mother&amp;#039; represents Binah. Also called Sea, source of &amp;#039;rivers&amp;#039;, from where Light flows to the lower worlds. From the stolen human lust, she &ldquo;conceives&rdquo; and spawns new classes of demons, continuing the line of impurity and spiritual distortion in the world.<br>\nThe Zohar teaches that lustful fantasies, especially when indulged without sanctity or discipline, are not merely personal or psychological experiences &mdash; they can feed spiritual forces of impurity and perpetuate negativity in the world. This warning highlights the importance of personal holiness, especially in thought and emotion.<br>\nFor most people, such thoughts or dreams should be redirected through <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Teshuva&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Repentance. &amp;#039;&#1514;&#1513;&#1493;&#1489;&#1492;&amp;#039;. The Hebrew word literally means &amp;#039;Return&amp;#039; to represent the aspect of leaving the bad way and returning to the righteous ways taught in the Torah.&nbsp; We can do Teshuva every day before going to sleep. It helps cleanse the soul from negative &amp;#039;attachments&amp;#039; and support a new beginning in the following day.The most basic and yet powerful repentance is saying&amp;quot;&#1495;&#1464;&#1496;&#1464;&#1488;&#1514;&#1460;&#1497; &#1506;&#1464;&#1493;&#1460;&#1497;&#1514;&#1460;&#1497; &#1508;&#1464;&#1468;&#1513;&#1463;&#1473;&#1506;&#1456;&#1514;&#1460;&#1468;&#1497;&amp;quot;&amp;quot;chata&amp;#039;ti aviti pasha&amp;#039;tti&amp;quot;Loosely translates to &amp;quot;I have sinned, I did wrongs, I did crimes&amp;quot;. By admitting the wrongs, a person opens a path for correction and soul cleansing.Even if a person did a lot of sins and wrongs, but say these words with intention before he dies, he will have a share in the world to come, after he goes through the cleansing process in Gehennam.&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=teshuva\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">teshuvah<\/a>, Torah study, and modesty in action and thought, knowing that even desires can be elevated or purified.<br>\n#362<br>\nAnd those children &mdash; that is, the demons and spirits &mdash; that she (Naamah) gives birth to from human beings are found and appear in dreams to human females, and she becomes impregnated by them and gives birth to spirits. All of them go to the first Lili&ndash;h, and she raises them. She goes out into the world and seeks human children. When she sees the children of human beings, she clings to them to kill them and to cleave to the spirit (soul) of the human children, and she goes off with that spirit. Then, three holy spirits appear, flying before her, and they take that soul from her and place it before the Holy One, Blessed be He, and there it learns before Him.<br>\nNotes:<br>\nLilith (Do not pronounce her name) &ndash; These spirits are all gathered by Lilith, the ancient and powerful spiritual entity associated with death, seduction, and infant harm, as explained in Kabbalah. She is said to raise these spirits and use them to harm humans, particularly children.<br>\nImpure forces, such as Lilith and her offspring, are said to feed off human weakness, especially sexual impurity and spiritual vulnerability during sleep. These forces particularly target children, representing innocence and continuity &mdash; but divine forces protect and elevate these lost souls.
