\nבְּרֵאשִׁית, בָּרָא שִׁית, זֶה אָדָם שֶׁכּוֹלֵל שֵׁשׁ, וְהֵם שְׁתֵּי שְׁפָחוֹת מֵהַצַּד שֶׁל הָעֵץ שֶׁל טוֹב וָרָע, עֶצֶם וּבָשָׂר, אִישׁ וְאִשָּׁה, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בָּהּ כִּי מֵאִישׁ לֻקֳחָה זֹּאת, הֲרֵי אַרְבַּע, אָדָם זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה בְּרָאָם וְגוֹמֵר, הֲרֵי שֵׁשׁ, וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה וַיֹּאמֶר יהו”ה אֱלֹהִי”ם הֵן הָאָדָם הָיָה כְּאַחַד מִמֶּנּוּ לָדַעַת טוֹב וָרָע וְגוֹמֵר, וּפֵרְשׁוּהוּ הָרִאשׁוֹנִים, כְּאֶחָד מִמַּלְאֲכֵי הַשָּׁרֵת.\n

Genesis 3:22<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים, הֵן הָאָדָם הָיָה כְּאַחַד מִמֶּנּוּ, לָדַעַת, טוֹב וָרָע; וְעַתָּה פֶּן-יִשְׁלַח יָדוֹ, וְלָקַח גַּם מֵעֵץ הַחַיִּים, וְאָכַל, וָחַי לְעֹלָם.”
\n“And YHVH<\/a> ELHYM said: ‘Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life<\/a>, and eat, and live for ever.’”<\/p>\n

While Rabbi Shimon and his son were studying this verse, Elijah the prophet came to visit and revealed them the secret of it.<\/p>\n

The split between H of Binah<\/a> and H of Malchut<\/a> created a situation that the man, Adam, could bridge the two Trees into one.<\/p>\n

“הֵן הָאָדָם הָיָה כְּאַחַד מִמֶּנּוּ” “the ה man אדם is become היה (HYH) as one of us (Like V ו)”. The man is now like V, Zeir Anpin<\/a>, a channel.<\/p>\n

If he connects both worlds, the negative side can draw from the Tree of Life<\/a> and sustain its existence forever.<\/p>\n
