אַחַר שֶׁחָטָא הָאָדָם שֶׁל הַיְצִירָה, נִפְרְדָה ה’ הָעֶלְיוֹנָה וְהִסְתַּלְּקָה מִמֶּנּוּ, וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁלֹּא חָזְרָה אֵלָיו אָמַר, אִם זָכָה וְלָקַח גַּם מֵעֵץ הַחַיִּים, וְאָכַל וָחַי לְעֹלָם, וְעֵץ הַחַיִּים הַזֶּה הָיָה נָטוּעַ בְּעֵץ הַגָּן, וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁלֹּא זָכָה לֶאֱכֹל מִמֶּנּוּ, מַה כָּתוּב בּוֹ? וַיְשַׁלְּחֵהוּ יהו”ה אֱלֹהִי”ם מִגַּן עֵדֶן לַעֲבֹד אֶת הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר לֻקַּח מִשָּׁם, אוֹתוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ וַיִּיצֶר יהו”ה אֱלֹהִי”ם אֶת הָאָדָם עָפָר מִן הָאֲדָמָה, שֶׁלֹּא הָיָה כְדַאי לִהְיוֹת בְּגַן הַתּוֹרָה, כֵּיוָן שֶׁלֹּא שָׁמַר בָּהּ אֶת עֵץ הַדַּעַת טוֹב וָרָע בְּאִסּוּר וְהֶתֵּר, וְעָבַר עַל מַאֲמַר רִבּוֹנוֹ, שֶׁאִם הָיָה שׁוֹמֵר שֶׁלֹּא יַעֲבֹר עַל מַאֲמַר רִבּוֹנוֹ, וְלָקַח גַּם מֵעֵץ הַחַיִּים, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ תּוֹרַת חָכָם מְקוֹר חַיִּים לָסוּר מִמֹּקְשֵׁי מָוֶת, עֵץ חַיִּים הִיא לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ, וְזֶהוּ וְלָקַח גַּם מֵעֵץ הַחַיִּים וְאָכַל וָחַי לְעֹלָם, גַּם – לְרַבּוֹת הַנְּקֵבָה, פְּרִי הָאִילָן, פְּרִי צַדִּיק.<\/div>\n

וְעוֹד, הֵן הָאָדָם הָיָה כְּאַחַד מִמֶּנּוּ, אָמְרוּ הַמַּלְאָכִים הַקְּדוֹשִׁים, כְּדֵי שֶׁיִּהְיֶה הוּא כְּאַחַד מִמֶּנּוּ, כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמַר הַנָּחָשׁ וִהְיִיתֶם כֵּאלֹהִי”ם יֹדְעֵי טוֹב וָרָע, וְזֶהוּ לָדַעַת טוֹב וָרָע, זֶה גָרַם לוֹ אֶת הַמָּוֶת, שֶׁאִם זָכָה לֶאֱכֹל מֵעֵץ הַחַיִּים, שֶׁהוּא עֵץ חַיִּים הִיא לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ, מַה כָּתוּב בּוֹ? וְלָקַח גַּם מֵעֵץ הַחַיִּים וְגוֹמֵר.<\/p>\n

Tikkun 66<\/strong> – 2
\n(Continue from previous Daily Zohar)<\/p>\n

The sin connected Adam to the Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad, which is the material world but he still had the ability to access the Tree of Life<\/a>. The risk was that since he now had the ability to move between worlds, he could connect the Tree of Life<\/a> to the Tree of Knowledge and feed the negative side. God took a preventive action that is revealed in following verse.<\/p>\n

Genesis 3:23<\/a>
\n“וַיְשַׁלְּחֵהוּ יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים, מִגַּן-עֵדֶן–לַעֲבֹד, אֶת-הָאֲדָמָה, אֲשֶׁר לֻקַּח, מִשָּׁם”
\n“Therefore YHVH<\/a> ELHYM sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to work the ground from which he was taken”<\/p>\n

Adam was made out of matter and placed in the Garden of Eden with a choice between the two trees. Now God sent him away to live his life in the material world.<\/p>\n

Genesis 3:24<\/a>
\n“וַיְגָרֶשׁ, אֶת-הָאָדָם; וַיַּשְׁכֵּן מִקֶּדֶם לְגַן-עֵדֶן אֶת-הַכְּרֻבִים, וְאֵת לַהַט הַחֶרֶב הַמִּתְהַפֶּכֶת, לִשְׁמֹר, אֶת-דֶּרֶךְ עֵץ הַחַיִּים”
\n“So He drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the garden of Eden the cherubim, and the flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way to the tree of life<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

To avoid corruption of the whole system, God made separation between the two worlds on the entrance to it that is on the east. Our highest meditation should always face the east, which is where the light of Chessed<\/a> comes to the world.<\/p>\n
