Jeremiah 44:5<\/a>
\n“וְלֹא שָׁמְעוּ וְלֹא-הִטּוּ אֶת-אָזְנָם, לָשׁוּב מֵרָעָתָם–לְבִלְתִּי קַטֵּר, לֵאלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים”
\n“But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to forbear offering unto other gods”<\/p>\n

The Zohar brings the prophecy of Jeremiah to teach us that God sends us messages to follow the right path but the people do not listen and correct their ways.<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 11:16<\/a>, 17
\n“הִשָּׁמְרוּ לָכֶם, פֶּן יִפְתֶּה לְבַבְכֶם; וְסַרְתֶּם, וַעֲבַדְתֶּם אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים, וְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶם, לָהֶם
\nוְחָרָה אַף-יְהוָה בָּכֶם, וְעָצַר אֶת-הַשָּׁמַיִם וְלֹא-יִהְיֶה מָטָר, וְהָאֲדָמָה, לֹא תִתֵּן אֶת-יְבוּלָהּ; וַאֲבַדְתֶּם מְהֵרָה, מֵעַל הָאָרֶץ הַטֹּבָה, אֲשֶׁר יְהוָה, נֹתֵן לָכֶם ”

and the anger of YHVH<\/a> be kindled against you, and He shut up the heaven, so that there shall be no rain, and the ground shall not yield her fruit; and ye perish quickly from off the good land which YHVH<\/a> giveth you ”<\/p>\n

The Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad is a cause and effect system. When we disconnect from the ‘good’ side, our life force goes to the ‘bad’ side. The elements of nature that keep the earth in balance become corrupted and we suffer. Enemies come on us and kill us. Even the Holy Temples were destroyed because of our disconnection from the ‘Good’. All chaos and death are the result of following the Snake<\/a> with his lies and deceits like on the first sin.<\/p>\n

The Zohar tells us that we may think we know the future outcome of our actions but it we are not on the ‘Good’ side of the Tree then we get all the ‘Bad’.<\/p>\n

We can imagine the Tree of Knowledge as the moon with one side facing the light and the other side<\/a> is always in darkness. The Sun is the aspect of the Tree of Life<\/a> and without it there is no existence of life.<\/p>\n

Every morning we should wake up to the light with meditation and positive actions that reflect the light (acts of sharing) and reveal it. Without that we are under the control of darkness.<\/p>\n
