But our impurities can contaminate the place of the Shechina, which is the aspect of our body and the name of God that is the aspect of the soul.<\/p>\n<p>Our body and soul should be made as a pure dwelling place for the Shechina and the light of God. When we do so, we become like a priest channeling the light of God to the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why fire can not carry any impurity?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fire is a force that transforms physical matters from one state to another. It creates a NEW state of existence for the matter in the process. The sacrifices in the Holy Temple were brought to the altar and a fire from above came down to burn them and create cleansing energy that removed impurities from the people, the nation and the whole world.<\/p>\n<p>Nowadays, we do not have the Holy Temple or the <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Kohen&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Kohen, PriestThe duties of the Kohen were to perform services in the Holy Temple to channel the Light of YHVH to this world.&amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;nbsp;&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=kohen-2\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">priests<\/a> to do the work for us.
