Tikkun 69<\/strong> – 33<\/p>\n

This subject began with Daily Zohar 790. <\/p>\n

The question that Rabbi Shimon and his friends asked (above) the man, reflected limited spiritual view. He scolded all of them saying “How come it is said on you that you are the wisest of the Generation?” “You are nothing but the fools of the generation!”
\n “You didn’t see in all your study that (here the man brings the verse from Psalms 91:14<\/a>) ‘Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him ‘ until (Psalms 91:16<\/a>) ‘With long life (Days) will I satisfy him, and make him to behold My salvation’”<\/p>\n

He continues and explains that the ‘Long days’ is a reference to Arich Anpin<\/a> אריך אנפין that is the ‘face’ of Keter<\/a> of Atzilut<\/a>, the world that brings the “Havalim”. (Expanding on this point may take a long time and we must move on with the pace and the purpose of the Daily Zohar. Zion<\/a>) <\/p>\n

After completing the commentary on the Zohar, named “Hasulam”,”The Ladder”, Rabbi Ashlag felt that he completed his mission in this world and it was time for him to leave the world. He took his students to the sites of the Holy Ari in Saffad and Rabbi Shimon’s on the Mountain of Meron where he made a great giving thanks feast on completing the Zohar commentary. On the following Yom Kippur he asked the students to start the prayer two hours earlier than usual. In the morning prayer the congregation recite Psalms 91 that is repeated twice in the prayer to complete 130 words in the Psalms and connect to 10 times love אהבה
\n” אֹרֶךְ יָמִים, אַשְׂבִּיעֵהוּ; וְאַרְאֵהוּ, בִּישׁוּעָתִי” ” With long life will I satisfy him, and make him to behold My salvation.”
\nAt this exact point, the gates of Binah<\/a> in heavens opened up and the soul of Rabbi Ashlag ascended to the upper world.<\/p>\n

Studying this Zohar section, we learn a great lesson about the greatness of Rabbi Ashlag and the power of the Zohar.<\/p>\n

Earlier we mentioned the mysterious man that removed a limited physical body and got dressed with light. His face shined as it said in Daniel 12:3<\/a>
\n “ וְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִים–יַזְהִרוּ, כְּזֹהַר הָרָקִיעַ; וּמַצְדִּיקֵי, הָרַבִּים, כַּכּוֹכָבִים, לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד”
\n“And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn the many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.”<\/p>\n

That man also told Rabbi Shimon that the secrets of the entire spiritual system starts with the desire to connect with the Tree of Life<\/a> and by knowing the secrets of the names.
\nPsalms 91:14<\/a> ‘ כִּי בִי חָשַׁק, וַאֲפַלְּטֵהוּ; אֲשַׂגְּבֵהוּ, כִּי-יָדַע שְׁמִי ‘
\n” Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.”
\nand by doing that they guarantee themselves the promise that is stated in Psalms 91:16<\/a>
\n” אֹרֶךְ יָמִים, אַשְׂבִּיעֵהוּ; וְאַרְאֵהוּ, בִּישׁוּעָתִי”
\n” With long life will I satisfy him, and make him to behold My salvation.”
\nand that means being rewarded with the ultimate spiritual goal of completing the Tikkun and witnessing the Final redemption.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Ashlag saw the future redemption and his reward. He left with this words for us to remember the mission of spreading the Zohar, not just for you and me but for the benefit of ALL mankind.
\nOnly when all come under the ‘wings’ of the Shechina, they will be protected from the final cleansing process (that is already started) and see the Final Redemption.<\/p>\n

What did Rabbi Ashlag do for us?<\/strong>
\nHe started writing the commentary on the Zohar during World war II. The Nazis were already in north Africa and were on their way to Israel<\/a> (that was under British ruling at that time). As they reached Egypt they stopped because they lost their connection to all food and other supplies.
\nWhen the first Zohar book came out of the printing press, the war ended and the Nazis surrendered.
\nFive years after he started his work on the Zohar, in 1948, Israel<\/a> became an independent state. Rabbi Ashlag then said that this is the beginning of the Final Redemption. He passed away 5 years later after working 10 years on the Zohar.
\nRabbi Ashlag left for us energy of life. Most Kabbalah teachers in the world are fed and ‘energized’ from his writings on the Zohar and from the study method he left for us on Tree of Life<\/a> from the Holy Ari.<\/p>\n

Always remember Psalms 91:16<\/a> as the ultimate reward for our spiritual work and growth.
