\n“אֲנִי יְשֵׁנָה, וְלִבִּי עֵר; קוֹל דּוֹדִי דוֹפֵק, פִּתְחִי-לִי אֲחֹתִי רַעְיָתִי יוֹנָתִי תַמָּתִי–שֶׁרֹּאשִׁי נִמְלָא-טָל, קְוֻצּוֹתַי רְסִיסֵי לָיְלָה.”
\n“I sleep, but my heart awake; The voice of my beloved knock (pulsate): ‘Open to me, my sister, my wife, my dove, my undefiled; for my head is filled with dew, my locks with the drops of the night”<\/p>\n

The voice, Light, of God vibrates and sends air (Ruach<\/a>) into the ‘wings’ of the lungs. This ‘breathing’ of air, feeds the fire that the heart generates and ‘pulsates’ (דופק) to bring life to the body.<\/p>\n

The air we breathe can be viewed as the aspect of surrounding light that is always available for us. The heart is the aspect of the inner light. The ‘voice’ of God is always ‘knocking’ (דופק) on our door and wishes that we make an opening for him to come in.<\/p>\n

We are the aspect of the vessel supported by the Shechina that is ‘the wife’ of the Light and the H ה of Malchut<\/a>. The head that is filled with Dew טל is the upper levels יהו in its spelled form (יוד-הא-ואו) and have the numerical value of 39 (=טל).<\/p>\n

Only when we go out of ourselves, we expand our vessel and draw more light. If we don’t do so then our vessel will be consumed from the inside and sooner or later bring death to the vessel. It is not about the length of life. It is about the size of the vessel and its ability to draw and be filled with light.<\/p>\n

When you connect other people to the light of the Zohar you extend your vessel into theirs because you create a link with your name on it.<\/p>\n

Introduce Zohar and Kabbalah (gently) as much as you can. Suggest books, take them to classes and share links to your favorite kabbalah websites. Become like God and ‘Knock’ on their doors.<\/p>\n
