Tikkun 69<\/strong> – 47<\/p>\n

While Rabbi Shimon and his friends were studying, an elder came to them. It was Rabbi Pinchas<\/a> Ben Yair, who was the father in law of Rabbi Shimon. He revealed to them that the four letters of the name are united in the central column. They joined together during the Shema prayer of the morning and of the evening.<\/p>\n

The Prayers bring unification of the name and the gate of Yessod<\/a> is opened to bring down the light to Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After he said these words, the elder, flew away.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Shimon told the friends that because of their prayers they got help from above. He quoted Ecclesiastes 10:20<\/a>
\n“כִּי עוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם יוֹלִיךְ אֶת-הַקּוֹל, וּבַעַל הכנפים (כְּנָפַיִם) יַגֵּיד דָּבָר”
\n“for a bird of the sky shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.”<\/p>\n

The deep secret revealed from this verse is that the voice קּוֹל, of the prayers is the aspect of Vav ו, the wings are the two הה HH and the sky is the י Yod.
\nYessod<\/a>, is the aspect of the bird, עוף. It has numerical value of 156, which is 6 (Vav) times 26 (YHVH<\/a>). Also same as יוסף, Joseph<\/a>, that is the chariot<\/a> for Yessod<\/a>.
\n156 divided by 3 for the three columns<\/a> gives us 52 which is the numerical value of the YHVH<\/a> name (יוד-הה-וו-הה) for Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The wings are for H ה Binah<\/a> and H ה Malchut<\/a>. Binah<\/a> spreads the light like a mother<\/a> hovering over and protecting her children. Malchut<\/a> is the hungry child that asks the mother<\/a> for nourishment.<\/p>\n

The vessel that we build with our prayers in Malchut<\/a> ‘pushes’ the Sefirot up and each level receives light from the level that is above it.<\/p>\n

When the upper gate opens for the prayer, Chessed<\/a> connects to Binah<\/a> and receives the light. It comes down to its place with the light of Binah<\/a>. Then Gevurah<\/a> gets Binah<\/a> and Chessed<\/a>, Tiferet<\/a> gets the three and so on all the way down to Malchut<\/a> that receives all the light.<\/p>\n

We should know that our prayers ‘recharge’ the whole Tree of Life<\/a>. They bring light on a personal and global level. The beautiful thing is that all we need to do is build proper vessel and when we do so, the light comes down unconditionally.<\/p>\n

God, YHVH<\/a>, is our faithful partner in the Tikkun process. We cannot generate light from the darkness of Malchut<\/a> but we can create the vessels for it. It’s not a dream; if we build it, he will come.<\/p>\n
