The three drops that came from Adam Kadmon are three levels of Wisdom (Chokmah<\/a>). Wisdom of the thought, wisdom of the speech and wisdom of the action.<\/p>\n

They are three concealed worlds that come from the supernal<\/a> brain, which is the essence of the light on that level. It is named ‘Segol’. There are three more above these that come from the concealed ‘brain’ of the ancient ‘Atik<\/a>’ and they are called ‘Segolta’.<\/p>\n

Before we start on the study of the tree of life<\/a> here are a few points to remember:<\/p>\n

You should never assume physical image to whatever is described in such terms. In the material world where we need to communicate with each other we use a language that is based on the world that surround us. The spiritual world is totally different but in order to satisfy the ear we use terms of this world. It s only to create association with spiritual attributes. A vessel is not a physical container but some kind of aspect of desire for a specific light that is higher than itself.<\/p>\n

The teaching of the Tree of Life<\/a> will be on a simplified level for several reasons. Using the English (or any other non Hebrew) language creates immediate limitation to the deep explanation of the spiritual system because the Hebrew letters<\/a> are integral part of it (You will learn that as we proceed with this study).<\/p>\n

The study I bring here is based on the teaching of the Holy Ari, Rabbi Ashlag, the Rashash<\/a> and from the explanation of Ari’s teachings by other Kabbalists.<\/p>\n

Tree of Life<\/a> #1<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Creator, Bless be He, raised a ‘desire’ to create a place to build a special ‘home’ for his created beings. A place with a spiritual system that is an extension of him. In this place he would build physical worlds and to bestow on his special beings the ability to control their environment and be like him.<\/p>\n

Before the Creation there was only simple light that filled the entire existence. Since we can not define it or know anything about it we call it the Endless, Bless be he.<\/p>\n

To create this “place” “המקום”, the Endless light distanced himself (its light) from a middle point, equally to all directions. This process created an empty sphere “חלל ריק”<\/p>\n

The ’emptiness’ of this space was not void of light but it was a state where the light was concealed in a system and process. To understand the principal we look at the sun as a source of Light. We cannot come too close or look at it directly. Its light cannot be seen in space but we know that it exists everywhere and is reflected from anything on its way.<\/p>\n
