He was a miracle worker.He had a donkey that the kabbalists say was a reincarnation of Balaam.He served Rabbi Pinchas faithfully. There is a story that he didn&amp;#039;t eat the food given to him even after making sure it was clean and proper for him. After investigation, they found out that they didn&amp;#039;t give a tithe from that food. After the separate the tithe, the donkey ate the food.In Numbers 23:10, we read that after Balaam couldn&amp;#039;t curse Israel, he blessed them and asked to have a righteous death. He knew that a man from Israel would kill him. Such a death would be a significant correction for him and save him a long time in Gehennam. Pinchas and Tzilia chase Balaam and even though Balaam flew in the air, Pinchas and Tzilia could &amp;#039;ground&amp;#039; him. He appears in many places through the Zohar and asks questions or provides answers to guide Rabbi Shimon in revealing greater light.<\/p>\n<p>In this section he asks &ldquo;What is the &lsquo;Vapor&rsquo;, &ldquo;&#1492;&#1489;&#1500;&rdquo; that is created on earth?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Genesis.2.6?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\" target=\"_blank\">Genesis 2:6<\/a><br>\n&ldquo; &#1493;&#1456;&#1488;&#1461;&#1491;, &#1497;&#1463;&#1506;&#1458;&#1500;&#1462;&#1492; &#1502;&#1460;&#1503;-&#1492;&#1464;&#1488;&#1464;&#1512;&#1462;&#1509;, &#1493;&#1456;&#1492;&#1460;&#1513;&#1473;&#1456;&#1511;&#1464;&#1492;, &#1488;&#1462;&#1514;-&#1499;&#1468;&#1464;&#1500;-&#1508;&#1468;&#1456;&#1504;&#1461;&#1497; &#1492;&#1464;&#1488;&#1458;&#1491;&#1464;&#1502;&#1464;&#1492;&rdquo;<br>\n&ldquo;but there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The vapor that is created on the earth is the vapor of the prayers and the sacred text of Torah and Zohar. The source of its energy comes from the heart. &#1492;&#1489;&#1500; &ldquo;Vapor&rdquo; is also &ldquo;&#1492;&#1500;&#1489;&rdquo;, &ldquo;The Heart&rdquo; . The two letters  &#1500;&#1489; are the first and last letters of &#1489; and &#1500; of the Torah and they spell &lsquo;heart&rsquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Our heart and consciousness produce heat and energy of life in the body. Heart is located between the wings of the lungs for an important purpose. The mind consciousness &lsquo;travels&rsquo; from the brain through pulses of energy to the heart and vibrates the lungs. It pushes vapor out to the world outside, through the breathing pipe. These vapors that the Holy Ari tells us, are waves of energy which produce angels that support us in time of need. The Zohar tells us that the process purifies the soul level of <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Soul levels&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Soul levels&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Nefesh&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt; is the lower level of Light in the body but is the most important to sustain the life of a person. The Liver is the control center of the Nefesh in the body.&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Ruach&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt; is higher and comes from Zeir Anpin. We achieve this additional light in this world by following the ways of the Torah with the general rule &amp;quot;Do good and avoid bad&rdquo;. The Heart is the center for the Ruach.&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Neshama&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt; is the highest level of Light that can be achieved in this world. Righteous people that already have the level of Ruach and act selflessly for the benefit of others, can achieve the level of Neshama. Since it&rsquo;s the highest level, it connects to the brain.The higher-level of the soul controls the level below it. Neshamah and Ruach can leave the person if he loses the righteous path.
