and why is thy countenance fallen?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Because God didn&rsquo;t accept his offering, Cain was upset and fell down from his level. God asked him a rhetorical question annd immediately gives the answer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Genesis.4.7?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\" target=\"_blank\">Genesis 4:7<\/a><br>\n&ldquo;&#1492;&#1458;&#1500;&#1493;&#1465;&#1488; &#1488;&#1460;&#1501;-&#1514;&#1468;&#1461;&#1497;&#1496;&#1460;&#1497;&#1489;, &#1513;&#1474;&#1456;&#1488;&#1461;&#1514;, &#1493;&#1456;&#1488;&#1460;&#1501; &#1500;&#1465;&#1488; &#1514;&#1461;&#1497;&#1496;&#1460;&#1497;&#1489;, &#1500;&#1463;&#1508;&#1468;&#1462;&#1514;&#1463;&#1495; &#1495;&#1463;&#1496;&#1468;&#1464;&#1488;&#1514; &#1512;&#1465;&#1489;&#1461;&#1509;; &#1493;&#1456;&#1488;&#1461;&#1500;&#1462;&#1497;&#1498;&#1464;, &#1514;&#1468;&#1456;&#1513;&#1473;&#1493;&#1468;&#1511;&#1464;&#1514;&#1493;&#1465;, &#1493;&#1456;&#1488;&#1463;&#1514;&#1468;&#1464;&#1492;, &#1514;&#1468;&#1460;&#1502;&#1456;&#1513;&#1473;&#1464;&#1500;-&#1489;&#1468;&#1493;&#1465;.&rdquo;<br>\n&ldquo;If thou doest well, shall it not be lifted up? and if thou doest not well, sin coucheth at the door; and unto thee is its desire, but thou mayest rule over it.&rsquo;&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>God revealed to Cain the principals of how to overcome the negative side. The first thing is to do good, which is actions that would lift us up. Rabbi Elazar gives another explanation and tells us that God guided Cain with advice that with good actions he would be able to carry (&#1513;&#1474;&#1456;&#1488;&#1461;&#1514;) the &lsquo;load&rsquo; of his Tikkun.<\/p>\n<p>If we are not following the path of positive actions, negativity will be at the beginning of every action we do to take control. In that case we will have to work harder to go back on the path of good and pure.<\/p>\n<p>Cain didn&rsquo;t follow God&rsquo;s advice. He carried the seed of the <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Sama-l&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Aka Satan, Snake, Angel of Death, Evil-sideSamael &amp;lt;span class=&amp;quot;script-hebrew&amp;quot; dir=&amp;quot;rtl&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&#1505;&#1463;&#1502;&#1464;&#1468;&#1488;&#1461;&#1500;&amp;lt;\/span&amp;gt;&nbsp;&amp;lt;i&amp;gt;Samma-el &amp;lt;\/i&amp;gt;(We don&amp;#039;t use the proper spelling because it&amp;#039;s better not to say this name).Sama-l is the Minister of the other side. He represents all evil. He is the Sat-n, the Snake, the Angel of Death, and the Evil Inclination, all as one.His female counterpart is Lil-th (we don&amp;#039;t say her name). She is vicious and pushes men to make sins, especially related to sex.&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=sama-l\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">Snake<\/a> inside and couldn&rsquo;t take control of his actions. The following verse reveal to us that Cain&rsquo;s anger turned into the action of killing. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/Genesis.4.8?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\" target=\"_blank\">Genesis 4:8<\/a> &ldquo;Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Our Tikkun process may have begun away from the Light but when we find it we should cling to it as if is our last chance for redemption.
