Isaiah 63:11<\/a>
\n“וַיִּזְכֹּר יְמֵי-עוֹלָם, מֹשֶׁה עַמּוֹ; אַיֵּה <\/strong>הַמַּעֲלֵם מִיָּם, אֵת רֹעֵי צֹאנוֹ–אַיֵּה<\/strong> הַשָּׂם בְּקִרְבּוֹ, אֶת-רוּחַ קָדְשׁוֹ ”
\n“Then His people remembered the days of old, the days of Moses: ‘Where (אַיֵּה) is He that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where (אַיֵּה) is He that put His holy spirit in the midst of them?”<\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals to us that the three letters of the word אַיֵּה is the secret of three levels of reincarnation.
\nא is reference to Keter<\/a> that is the beginning and root of all souls.
\nי is for Chokmah<\/a>
\nה is for Binah<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the process of the creation the upper lights of Keter<\/a>, Chochma<\/a> and Binah<\/a> came down to create the vessels of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Malchut<\/a> and after they went back to their place, the Creator placed a curtain called Parshah to separate the upper three from the lower seven.<\/p>\n

For that reason there can not be more that three incarnations in the same line. Tikkun in the family line follows up to the fourth generation. If the line was open, then the flow of light could terminate the process and the vessel would be broken or nullified.<\/p>\n

We can see this aspect of separation between upper and lower in the human body. The diaphragm that is under the lungs is like a special barrier that separates the body’s energies and functions. The upper part connects to the life force with the brain, heart, lungs, 4 internal senses (the sense of touch is external, Malchut<\/a>). The lower part includes the process and manifestation of the energy that comes from above using the stomach, intestine, liver, kidneys etc. <\/p>\n

You should know that if the diaphragm stops from functioning, God forbid, a person could die in minutes from choking because the diaphragm controls the functions of the upper part of the body<\/p>\n

Shabbat is the seventh day and it brings us closer to Binah<\/a> that is just above the seven. We break the barrier with the Torah reading and the Musaf prayer.<\/p>\n

The highest point is when we recite the “Kedusha<\/a>” of Keter<\/a>. When we get to the word אַיֵּה we connect to the highest level of soul that we can achieve, which is Neshamah.<\/p>\n

Next time we say the word איה (Ayeh) during the Musaf of Shabbat, we should meditate to connect our seven Sefirot with the upper three Sefirot using the three letters איה as a bridge and draw the light of the soul level of Neshamah. <\/p>\n
