Tikkun 69<\/strong> – 131
\n(Continue from previous Daily Zohar)<\/p>\n

Cain understood that the curse God put on him had an open judgment on his head, a fact that allowed anyone to kill him. (4:14) “whosoever finds me will slay me.”<\/p>\n

Genesis 4:13<\/a>
\n“ וַיֹּאמֶר קַיִן, אֶל-יְהוָה: גָּדוֹל עֲו‍ֹנִי, מִנְּשֹׂא.”
\n“And Cain said unto YHVH<\/a>: ‘My punishment is greater than I can bear.”<\/p>\n

Realizing the impact of his actions, Cain repented immediately and in return God circumcised him to remove the negativity attached to him from the seed of the Snake<\/a>. The letter Vav added to the word נד made it נוד and with that he received protection and didn’t have to be a fugitive and wanderer. In Genesis 4:16<\/a> we read that he “dwelt in the land of Nod נוד , on the east of Eden”<\/p>\n

God did not take away the judgment from Cain who couldn’t bear it but just stored it for a later release. The mercy of God helps us from receiving the judgment immediately when we fall into negativity.<\/p>\n

One of the thirteen attributes of God that we read in Exodus 34:6<\/a>-7
\n“יְהוָה יְהוָה, אֵל רַחוּם וְחַנּוּן–אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם, וְרַב-חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת” “נֹצֵר חֶסֶד לָאֲלָפִים, נֹשֵׂא עָו‍ֹן וָפֶשַׁע וְחַטָּאָה; וְנַקֵּה, לֹא יְנַקֶּה–פֹּקֵד עֲו‍ֹן אָבוֹת עַל-בָּנִים וְעַל-בְּנֵי בָנִים, עַל-שִׁלֵּשִׁים וְעַל-רִבֵּעִים”
\n“YHVH<\/a>, YHVH<\/a>, God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth;” “keeping mercy unto the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and unto the fourth generation”<\/p>\n

The attribute of , נֹשֵׂא עָו‍ֹן means ‘Carrying of iniquity’. In order to have mercy in the world God takes our iniquities under his ‘wings’ and spreads them over time and several generations so we can ‘handle’ them.<\/p>\n

At the end of the day we must correct them otherwise the judgment will be released upon us sooner or later. As we read above, God is “visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and unto the fourth generation”.<\/p>\n

Because the family line shares the same ‘Tikkun account’ we can see it as one aspect of life after death. Our children and their children will have to correct any issues that need to be corrected. We should work hard to leave behind the best inheritance, which is a clean Tikkun file.<\/p>\n
