He was the main student of Rabbi Ashlag that translated the Zohar to Hebrew with added commentary<\/p>\n<p>Rabbi Ashlag completed the five books of the Torah and Rabbi Brandwein continued working on Tikkunei Hazohar. He passed away before completing it.
