Tikkun 70<\/strong> – 73<\/p>\n

Rabbi Elazar asks his Rabbi Shimon, “where do you take that Binah<\/a> is north and the sense of hearing?”<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 6:4<\/a>
\n“שְׁמַע, יִשְׂרָאֵל: יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ, יְהוָה אֶחָד ”
\n“Hear, O Israel<\/a>: YHVH<\/a> our God, YHVH<\/a> is one. ” <\/p>\n

Rabbi Shimon explains that the prayer of Shema Yisrael is our connection to the 50 gates of Binah<\/a>. The first word is ‘Hear’ and the second word is ‘Israel<\/a>’ that is Jacob’s name. He is the aspect of Zeir Anpin<\/a> that is son בן of YH יה. YH is the supernal<\/a> father and mother<\/a>. The letters בן+יה are the same as בינה, Binah<\/a>. For these reasons, hearing connects to Binah<\/a>.
\n Rabbi Shimon expands his explanation and says that because the four letters of the name YHVH<\/a> are the aspect of Seeing, Hearing, Smelling and Speaking, each one of them includes the ten Sefirot. The name YHVH<\/a> itself doesn’t change and is like the soul for the body for the specific sense. It gives each of them an equal life force that they need to function.
\nThe changes in the senses could only be at the Sefirot level that represents the vessel but the inner light that is YHVH<\/a> never changes.<\/p>\n

Malachi 3:6<\/a>
\n“כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה, לֹא שָׁנִיתִי; וְאַתֶּם בְּנֵי-יַעֲקֹב, לֹא כְלִיתֶם”
\n“For I YHVH<\/a> change not; and you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed (came to end).”
\nYHVH<\/a> is the name that represents the entire Creation and the light of the Endless that brings life to all the worlds from Adam Kadmon through Atzilut<\/a> (Emanation<\/a>), Beriah<\/a> (Creation), Yetzira (Formation) and Asiah (Action).<\/p>\n

It is important to understand that the light, YHVH<\/a>, is always the same.
\nImagine an endless source of water and a big dam with pipes leading the water to the end user, consumer. It goes from big pipes to smaller ones until it reaches the end consumer that uses a small water faucet. He cannot connect directly to the source because it could break his system (house,vessel..). The water is the same water as the one at the source but the ability to use and channel more water depends on the pipe and its place in the process of delivering it to the consumer at the end of the line.
\nThe lesson for us is that we can have all the powers that we want or need if we have a bigger and strong vessel to handle it. We can easily grow as a channel if we let go of the desire to have it all for ourselves and choose to continue the force that we receive from. When we behave like the one that gives to us, we reach the same level and connect to the level above it. We can continue with the same method and keep growing our ability to channel the water\/light further more. <\/p>\n

If we want to have a lot of water, we should not hold on to it.<\/p>\n
