Tikkun 70<\/strong> – 86<\/p>\n

There are 248 precepts in the frame of “You shall do…” and 365 of “You shall not do…”.<\/p>\n

248 is the number of body parts and the numerical value of רחם, ‘womb’ that is also love in Aramaic. We were born with the act of love and unification of male and female that draws the light and starts a process of creation in the womb that is a vessel of love.<\/p>\n

Every precept creates a connection of light to a different body part. It is impossible for a person to complete 248 precepts in one life time and we have the reincarnation process to help us achieve unification of all body\/soul parts with the light.<\/p>\n

When we follow the meditation described in Daily Zohar #980, we make sure that the light brings purity to that part. The precept that covers all the precepts is the study of the Torah that is possible for us through the study of the Zohar. The Torah light shines from the study of the Zohar and that connects us to all the precepts. When we read about the work of the priests<\/a>, the Ten utterances and all the precepts, we draw that special light into our souls.<\/p>\n

The sages teach us;
\nאֵלּוּ דְבָרִים שֶׁאָדָם אוֹכֵל פֵּרוֹתֵיהֶם בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה, וְהַקֶּרֶן קַיֶּמֶת לוֹ לָעוֹלָם הַבָּא: כִּבּוּד אָב וָאֵם, וּגְמִילוּת חֲסָדִים, וַהֲבָאַת שָׁלוֹם בֵּין אָדָם לַחֲבֵרוֹ; וְתַלְמוּד תּוֹרָה כְּנֶגֶד כֻּלָּם<\/strong>.
\n תלמוד בבלי, שבת קכז ע”א.”<\/p>\n

Translation:<\/strong>
\n“These are the things that a person ‘eat’ from their fruit in this world and the principal kept for the next world; honoring the parents, act of kindness to others, bringing peace between people and study Torah is against all of them<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

The reason for that statement is that our actions are limited to time and place but the study is a connection to the light that purifies the soul and it is carried with us to the next world.
\nThe actions that we do affect our Tikkun directly, the study affects this life and previous lives.<\/p>\n

If we pass before correcting every part of the soul, we come back in reincarnation with a flawed body part that teaches us about our correction.<\/p>\n
