Genesis 5:1<\/a>
\n“ זֶה סֵפֶר, תּוֹלְדֹת אָדָם: בְּיוֹם, בְּרֹא אֱלֹהִים אָדָם, בִּדְמוּת אֱלֹהִים, עָשָׂה אֹתוֹ.”
\n“This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him”<\/p>\n

The Zohar brings another explanation to the ‘Book of the generations of Adam’ and connects it to the Sefirah of Yessod<\/a> that is the only Sefirah that can bring life and continuation to the world.
\nZeir Anpin<\/a> is represented with the name יוד-הא-ואו-הא that is numerically 45 and equal to אדם Adam. The souls to come out of this Sefirah, that is also called ספר, meaning ‘Book’.<\/p>\n

Book is the aspect of time, process and limitation. Like a great story that is put to word can never replace the spiritual source (the Light, Imagination etc..)<\/p>\n

Moses who is Ra’aya Meheimnah (The faithful shepherd<\/a>), is present in this section and Rabbi Shimon tells him that he is in the image of Adam (Zeir Anpin<\/a>) as it said in Isaiah 44:!3 “וַיַּעֲשֵׂהוּ כְּתַבְנִית אִישׁ, כְּתִפְאֶרֶת אָדָם לָשֶׁבֶת בָּיִת”
\n“and made him after the figure of a man (Adam), according to the beauty (Tiferet<\/a>) of a man, to dwell in the house .”<\/p>\n

The house is the aspect of Malchut<\/a> and the Shechina. Moses as Adam, was made as the verse above says “in the likeness of God made He him;”. He is the ‘husband’ of the Shechina and the souls of all people come through him. That is why it said on him in Exodus 18:21<\/a> “וְאַתָּה תֶחֱזֶה מִכָּל-הָעָם אַנְשֵׁי-חַיִל יִרְאֵי אֱלֹהִים, אַנְשֵׁי אֱמֶת–שֹׂנְאֵי בָצַע”
\n“Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating unjust gain”<\/p>\n
