Tikkun 2<\/strong> – 3 (refers to Tikkun 22 and 23)<\/p>\n

Genesis 2:16<\/a>
\n“וַיְצַו יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים, עַל-הָאָדָם לֵאמֹר: מִכֹּל עֵץ-הַגָּן, אָכֹל תֹּאכֵל.”
\n“And YHVH<\/a> God commanded the man (Adam), saying: ‘of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat;”<\/p>\n

The Zohar tells us that the tests the patriarchs went through were to correct the sins and impurities that Adam made.<\/p>\n

Adam is the root of all Israelites<\/a> and the command in the verse above is related to all of us.
\n
\n“And YHVH<\/a> God commanded”<\/strong> is idol worshiping, which is not following the spiritual system of the Tree of Life<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Saying”<\/strong> is reference to sexual sins. This was corrected by Jacob throughout his life’s work, making proper connections with his wives to draw down higher souls.<\/p>\n

“To the man”<\/strong> is ‘Blood shed’ , corrected by Isaac when he submitted himself to his binding and was ready to give his soul for that correction. Isaac was 37 years old and his father was 99 years old on that event.<\/p>\n

This study is another preparation for Rosh Hashanah that is coming in a few days. When we have this knowledge and the correction that the Patriarchs did for all of us, we can benefit from it during the judgment day (48 hours day) and for the rest of our lives.<\/p>\n
