Tikkun 6<\/strong> – 1<\/p>\n

In the first word of the Torah, בְּרֵאשִׁית, “In the Beginning” , we find the words תרי אש, that means ‘two fires’ and the Zohar explains that these are related to the two candles that we light before Shabbat. With that, we connect to the additional soul levels<\/a> of Nefesh<\/a> and Ruach<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There is the secret of garments of light. It is also the reason for the blessing that we recite immediately after Shabbat of “בורא מאורי האש” “Bore M’orei ha-esh” “Bless be… creator of the lights of fire”. With this blessing the light of Shabbat is carried to the coming week.<\/p>\n

Song of Songs 2:5<\/a>
\n“סַמְּכוּנִי,בָּאֲשִׁישׁוֹת–רַפְּדוּנִי, בַּתַּפּוּחִים: כִּי-חוֹלַת אַהֲבָה, אָנִי ”
\n“’Support me with dainties (אֲשִׁישׁוֹת, ‘fires’) , refresh me with apples; for I am love-sick.’ ”<\/p>\n

The Song of Songs is like the Holy of Hollies. It describes and expresses the desire of the Shechina to connect back to the Light. This verse as the Zohar explains, is a request of the Shechinah from us to support her connection with the Light by lighting the two candles before Shabbat. This action elevates the Shechina from the state of Exile that exists in Malchut<\/a> during the days of the week to the light of Binah<\/a> that is revealed on Shabbat.<\/p>\n

The two lights of fire also refer to the two Torahs that come from the fire of Binah<\/a>. The written Torah<\/a> is the aspect of ELOHYM, which is Gevurah<\/a>. The second Torah is the oral Torah<\/a> and the aspect of Chessed<\/a>, YHVH<\/a>. The written and the oral Torahs are also the aspect of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Nukvah (Malchut<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The two lips are the aspect of flames that speak the sacred words of the Torah.
\nPsalms 29:7<\/a> “ קוֹל-יְהוָה חֹצֵב; לַהֲבוֹת אֵשׁ.” “The voice of YHVH<\/a> heweth out flames of fire.”<\/p>\n

The oral Torah<\/a> is the secrets that the Zohar reveals to us from the Torah. When we study Zohar, we gain the ability to speak words of ‘fire’ that support the Shechina during the week. Because we reveal the light of Binah<\/a>, we are also able to transform our lives as the fire can for everything else.<\/p>\n

On the UnityZohar.com we have the transliteration of the entire Zohar. When we make efforts to utter the words of the Zohar, we speak with flames that consume negativity around us and reveal the light of Binah<\/a> in the world. This brings us closer to the Mashiach.<\/p>\n
