Tikkun 6 <\/strong>– 17<\/p>\n

Song of Songs 7:8<\/a>
\n“זֹאת קוֹמָתֵךְ דָּמְתָה לְתָמָר, וְשָׁדַיִךְ לְאַשְׁכֹּלוֹת”
\n“This thy stature is like to a palm-tree, and thy breasts to clusters of fruit.”<\/p>\n

This verse praises the Shechina. ‘This’, זֹאת is the aspect of the Shechina in Malchut<\/a> and it ascends with the Righteous through Zeir Anpin<\/a> that is the letter ו Vav of the name to the clusters of fruits that is the aspect of Binah<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Psalms 92:13<\/a>
\n” צַדִּיק, כַּתָּמָר יִפְרָח; כְּאֶרֶז בַּלְּבָנוֹן יִשְׂגֶּה. ”
\n” The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.”<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The palm is the aspect of the righteous people. They work hard to climb the tree and reach its fruits. The palm tree is tall and it is hard to climb on it. Those who make the efforts and climb all the way to the top, they can enjoy the wonderful fruits.<\/p>\n

The righteous connect through Yessod<\/a> to the Sefirot of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and reach the level of Binah<\/a> where they can draw light from the Tree of Life<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Zohar continues with the secrets of the relations between the light in Malchut<\/a> and the body parts.<\/p>\n

Exodus 15:27<\/a>
\n” וַיָּבֹאוּ אֵילִמָה–וְשָׁם שְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה עֵינֹת מַיִם, וְשִׁבְעִים תְּמָרִים; וַיַּחֲנוּ-שָׁם, עַל-הַמָּיִם”
\n” And they came to Elima, where were twelve springs of water, and three score and ten palm-trees; and they encamped there by the waters.”<\/p>\n

The twelve springs are the aspect of the 12 joints of the hands and the legs.<\/p>\n

Each hand has 5 fingers and 13 joints together makes 18. The Zohar talks about 13 but we know about 14 joints in the hand. the ‘Matk Midvash’ explains that the thumb is considered one because the upper joint is out of the count. This brings us to the count of 18 in each hand and similar in each foot. 18×4 = 72.<\/p>\n

Another aspect of the 72 is חסד<\/a> Chessed<\/a> and גבורה<\/a> Gevurah<\/a> 216 (=72 x3) . They bring the light to Yessod<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>. Yessod<\/a> is righteous as it said in Psalms 92:13<\/a> above and Malchut<\/a> is righteous because in Songs 7:8<\/a> above, Malchut<\/a> is described like a palm that is the aspect of righteous.<\/p>\n
