Righteous people that already have the level of Ruach and act selflessly for the benefit of others, can achieve the level of Neshama. Since it’s the highest level, it connects to the brain.The higher-level of the soul controls the level below it. Neshamah and Ruach can leave the person if he loses the righteous path. The level of Nefesh is removed only at the time of death, meaning when the heart stops and there is no blood circulation in the body.The other two levels of the soul are Chaya and Yechida, but they can only connect to the soul outside the body because their level of purity can not have a physical connection in this world.
" href="https://staging.dailyzohar.com/?glossary=soul-levels" data-gt-translate-attributes="[{"attribute":"data-cmtooltip", "format":"html"}]" tabindex="0" role="link">Nefesh ‘נפש’ and save it because he trusts him. There is a level of Malchut in all worlds (Atzilut, B'riah, Yetzirah, and Asiyah). In the Daily Zohar studies, the mention of Malchut could be on the upper levels, not necessarily Malchut of the world of Asiyah that is the material world. In general, Malchut doesn't have a light of its own but can draw from all the levels above it. Malchut can receive the Light in a pure process of 'earning.'Malchut is an aspect of the female with a desire for the Light.The image of the sefirot below represents the lowest level of the world of Asiyah, Action, where there is an aspect of physicality, material existence.Malchut of the upper worlds manifests the levels below it. This event is recorded in the Torah with a split Vav, in the portion of Pinchas, in the word שלום ‘peace’ that also has the meaning of completion. Pinchas, with his jealousy, cleansed the negativity and removed judgment from the Isarelites.

The Zohar tells us that the souls who don’t connect and earn the protection of the name are escorted by evil angels after their death into harsh cleansing process. In worst cases their souls may not even be accepted in hell (cleansing system) and stay between the physical and spiritual worlds. They go through endless sufferings and sometimes they find ‘refuge’ in bodies of negative people or those who made negative actions.

{||}

Click here to listen to the Daily Zohar
<img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21" title="Daily Zohar Pinchas-1073 Scanning from right to left top to bottom" src="https://staging.dailyzohar.com/wp-content/uploads/pinchas/images/dp-1073.gif" alt="Holy Zohar text.
