94. כָּךְ עָשָׂה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא עִם הַדּוֹר. נָתַן הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אֶת הַצַּדִּיק בִּרְשׁוּת הַמְקַטְרֵג לְהַצִּיל אֶת הַדּוֹר בִּגְלָלוֹ. וְאִם הוּא חָזָק כְּיַעֲקֹב, נֶאֱמַר בּוֹ (בראשית לב) וַיֵּאָבֵק אִישׁ עִמּוֹ. כָּל שֶׁכֵּן וְכָל שֶׁכֵּן שֶׁנִּצַּח אוֹתוֹ, עַד שֶׁאָמַר שַׁלְּחֵנִי. אָמַר, צֵל צֵל, כָּךְ הוּא. אַשְׁרֵי חֶלְקוֹ שֶׁל אוֹתוֹ צַדִּיק שֶׁהוּא חָזָק לִסְבֹּל יִסּוּרִים. כָּל שֶׁכֵּן מִי שֶׁמְּנַצֵּחַ בָּהֶם אֶת הַמְקַטְרֵג שֶׁלּוֹ, שֶׁהוּא שׁוֹלֵט עַל כָּל דּוֹר, וְנֶחְשָׁב לוֹ כְּאִלּוּ הוּא הִצִּיל אוֹתָם, וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא עוֹשֶׂה אוֹתוֹ רוֹעֶה עֲלֵיהֶם בִּמְקוֹמוֹ, וְלָכֵן זָכָה רוֹעֶה הַנֶּאֱמָן לִהְיוֹת רוֹעֶה עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל. וְלֹא עוֹד, אֶלָּא שֶׁכָּךְ מַשְׁלִיטוֹ עֲלֵיהֶם בָּעוֹלָם הַבָּא, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהִצִּיל אוֹתָם שֶׁלֹּא נֶאֶבְדוּ מִשָּׁם, שֶׁהִנְהִיגָם בְּתוֹרָה וּבְמַעֲשִׂים טוֹבִים.
\n95. בֵּין כָּךְ בָּא רוֹעֶה הַנֶּאֱמָן, אָמַר לָהֶם, וְלָמָּה לוֹקָה זְרוֹעַ יָמִין? שֶׁדֶּרֶךְ כָּל בַּעֲלֵי הָרְפוּאָה שֶׁמַּקִּיזִים בַּהַתְחָלָה זְרוֹעַ יָמִין, וַהֲרֵי זְרוֹעַ שְׂמֹאל קְרוֹבָה לַלֵּב, וּמַדּוּעַ לֹא מַקִּיזִים אוֹתָהּ? אָמַר לוֹ, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לֹא רוֹצֶה לְהַלְקוֹת יוֹתֵר, שֶׁהֲרֵי בָּזֶה מַסְפִּיק, וְאִם כְּבֵדָה הַמַּחֲלָה עַל אֵיבְרֵי הַגּוּף, מַקִּיז מִזְּרוֹעַ שְׂמֹאל.<\/div>\n

In order to save the generation, God let the negative side fight with the most qualified person.<\/p>\n

Genesis 32:25<\/a>
\n“וַיִּוָּתֵר יַעֲקֹב, לְבַדּוֹ; וַיֵּאָבֵק אִישׁ עִמּוֹ, עַד עֲלוֹת הַשָּׁחַר.”
\n“And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.”<\/p>\n

The ‘man’ Jacob wrestles with was the angel of the negative side. He managed to overcome the negativity of Laban, his father in law then Esau with a big army and now before coming back home to settle with his family, God challenges him with the angel of the negative side.<\/p>\n

The Zohar points to us that not only Jacob fought the negativity and didn’t lose but he won and took control over it.<\/p>\n

Genesis 32:27<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר שַׁלְּחֵנִי, כִּי עָלָה הַשָּׁחַר; וַיֹּאמֶר לֹא אֲשַׁלֵּחֲךָ, כִּי אִם-בֵּרַכְתָּנִי”
\n“Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.””
\nThe angel asked to be ‘let go’ but Jacob didn’t let him go before receiving a blessing.<\/p>\n

Winning this battle merited Jacob to have a new additional name of Israel<\/a>. He became the father of the future generation that will merit being in the Final Redemption.
\nRabbi Shimon praises the righteous that is strong to go through the suffering. When he controls negativity it is like he saves the generation.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Ashlag in the introduction to the study of the Ten Sefirot “הקדמה לתלמוד עשר ספירות” says that we should be happy and accept the state of suffering because it is a testimony that God cares for him and his Tikkun. But at the same time he says that when we cling to the Torah and reveal light in our life we could skip the process of suffering.
\nIf we reveal light and still suffer it means that we have more to correct and or our revealed light goes towards saving the world.<\/p>\n
